Welcome to the
Guide Dogs For the Blind - Reno Puppy Raisers
web page.
|
We are Puppy Raisers for Guide Dogs for the Blind located in Reno, Nevada and surrounding areas. We are a local club that raises puppies to become Guide Dogs for people who are blind or visually impaired. We pick up our puppies at 8 weeks old and raise, train, and socialize them until they are 14-16 months old. They then return to the main Guide Dog Campus to finish their training and be paired with their person!
Please look at our calendar of events to find our upcoming outings. If you have questions or concerns about any of our puppies, or would like to get involved, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Or if you would like more information about Guide Dogs for the Blind and the people they help, please check out their website at www.guidedogs.com |
